Synterra
Synterra Innovations Ltd. · Whales Corp AG group

Regulated rails, and a relationship behind them.

A Canadian money services business serving a small number of private and corporate relationships: exchange and paying-agent execution, EUR, GBP and USD account access, and digital cheque issuance. Terms are agreed individually, after compliance review — there is no rate card and no application form.

Rate boards

Illustrative — not dealable

The standard board: the live venue reference, at the standard spread.

1-Day Fixed Rates

BTC / EUR96,398.2397,641.771.29%
ETH / EUR3,137.263,177.741.29%
USDC / EUR0.91700.92150.49%

Quoted as euro per one unit of the asset. Every row carries live indicative market data from the venue, refreshed every few seconds; each board applies its own spread around that reference, which is why the three differ.

Available to onboarded clients only, and subject to compliance review of the underlying flow. Tickets beyond the standing size, and conversions into GBP or USD, are quoted directly with the desk rather than off the board.

Indicative market data, not a quote and not an offer. The rate a client deals on is the one confirmed to them in writing.

The house

Built for clients who need discretion,
capacity and a relationship

Most of what we do exists elsewhere as a product with a signup page. We are not that. We hold a deliberately small book, we know the people in it, and anything unusual reaches a named contact rather than a ticket queue.

What makes that possible is that the regulated entity is our own. Synterra Innovations Ltd is registered with FINTRAC as a money services business, wholly owned inside the Whales Corp AG group. When a client converts, settles or receives, the regulated counterparty is us — which is why we can size a limit to a person rather than to a policy.

Principle

Non-custodial by design

Client funds stay in the client's own custody until they are spent or instructed away. We are the regulated path, not the holder.

Principle

Full transparency, once

Conversion is disclosed and agreed at the outset, not renegotiated per transaction and not discovered in a statement.

Principle

A relationship, not a rate card

Terms, limits and structuring are set individually after compliance review. That is slower to begin and better to live with.

What we do

Four service lines, extended individually

Each is covered in full on the pages behind it. None of them is self-service, and none of them begins before onboarding is complete.

01 · Execution

Exchange & paying agent

Fiat and crypto conversion arranged directly with the desk, and third-party payments executed on documented, verified instruction — invoices, suppliers, payroll.

Execution →
02 · Rails

EUR, GBP & USD settlement

Conversion settles in the currency the client banks in, to an account in their own name, with one documented exchange behind it. We are the counterparty, not a place the money sits.

The rails →
03 · Entities

Business suite

The same relationship structured around a company: corporate cards, multiple authorised users and sub-accounts, bulk disbursement and payroll, on the same point of contact.

For entities →
04 · Instruments

Post.Cash digital cheques

Issue crypto as a cheque — a serial, a settlement currency and network, and a claim code redeemable once. Solana, Ethereum and Tron.

Cheques →
From customer to client

One relationship, four steps

Every fiat amount a client receives traces back to a single documented exchange with a regulated entity. That is the whole point of owning the rails, and it is what a banking partner asks to see.

  1. Step one

    Onboarding & KYC

Full identity verification, source of funds above set thresholds, and screening against sanctions and PEP lists. Most clear within days.

  2. Step two

    Client of the MSB

The client is onboarded to Synterra Innovations Ltd., the FINTRAC-registered money services business inside the group.

  3. Step three

    Regulated exchange

Fiat and crypto convert in one documented, traceable transaction with us as the regulated counterparty — not through an intermediary.

  4. Step four

    Instructed payments

Transfers, supplier payments and payroll are executed on the client's instruction, out of funds whose origin is already on the record.

Compliance

The discipline behind every relationship

Verified identity, documented source of funds, screened counterparties and continuous transaction monitoring — applied at every onboarding and on every flow, calibrated to the risk profile and the jurisdiction. It is the reason a small book is a feature rather than a limitation.

KYC

Every client, individual or corporate, before a first transaction.

Source of funds

Documented above set thresholds, with enhanced review where warranted.

Screening

PEP, sanctions and watchlists, at onboarding and on an ongoing basis.

Monitoring

Transactions screened with TRM Labs blockchain analytics.

Let's talk
